Explore the employment data

This is a critical dataset when looking at the effect of covid on food security since food security is directly correlated to the money, which is directly correlated with employment. This dataset shows employment data, but not just general employment data, specifically, employment data of workers in the food, hospitality, and manufacturing business. This is both the production of food at the manufacturing level and at the restarant level. If the employment level for food manufacturing drops significantly, the food supply levels can drop and food security concerns can increase. When exploring the data, the interesting trend is the drastic fall and rise of food and hospitality employment levels, while the food manufacturing employment levels stay relatively stable. Only a minor drop in a couple of the states show up on the graph, Michigan having the largest of the drops. It would be interesting to see the food manufacturing employment data in South Dakota as it has a large number of food manufacturing plants including Tyson and Grand Prairie, but the data does not exist in FRED.
